0 Retro Peacock Cake

 I thought I would start this blog with sharing one of my favorite original creations. This was designed for a bridal shower but can be used for any special occasion. I love the trend of peacock cakes and I wanted to create one for myself with a retro color scheme. This was also my first time making gum paste roses.

The feathers and most of the decorations were created with the orange Wilton silicone mold and dusting with a gold luster dust. If you have any questions please feel to comment! Thank you for visiting my blog.

Hello and welcome to my blog that is dedicated to my love of sugar art! I've always been fascinated by decorated cakes. One of my favorite things to read growing up was my mom's Wilton magazines and books. I would look at the pictures all the time and beg my mom to make them for me. Even though I've always loved decorating, I only have been seriously decorating cakes for a little over a year. I'm completely self taught through Pinterest, blogs, You Tube, Craftsy, etc... It's amazing the generous amount of information to help those who also share the same passion.
